I'll remember you by tanya chua

Sorry wasn't good enough
A song without meter and rhyme
A long forgotten promise I recalled I made to you
A candle flame dies in the wind
It looks like it's about to rain, about to rain

Spirals from your cigarette
Your sweet colgone on my pillow
Messages you left me still sing like some lullaby
Pretty pictures on the wall
Hopes in us will rise & fall, rise & fall

And in the rain
In summer days too
When the willow tree weeps too
Under the street light so bright
I'll remember you everyday

The plane leaves in an hour's time
Hold me till our last goodbye
Silence is the only sound
No words can speak it through
I'll breathe your breath for one last time
You'll be strong and so will I, so will I

And in the rain
In summer days too
When the willow tree weeps too
Under the street light so bright
I'll remember you
I'll remember you
I'll remember you
Everyday

Easter Sunday

Its easter sunday today... no chocolate bunny or easter eggs for me.. but instead my family and i head down to chatterbox at meritus mandarin for the famous chicken rice which cost bout 25 bucks a plate.

Presenting the chicken rice

Happy with the view.. not the meal..

If only it was rotating

The chicken rice aint fantastic, prefer Boon Tong Kee's one. Well that aside, I was expecting good service at the restaurant, but i was greatly disappointed. The tables were not set up, reason being they just served a large group for breakfast and half of the staff are taking a break now. Well, I have to admit that we were early for lunch, but they should be prepared. The waitress talked to us in a rather pissed tone when we requested to sit near the windows. To cut the long story short, the service was quite crap and not much initiative from the staff.

Well so we decided to head elsewhere for a nice dessert. So off to Bakerzin Paragon. My sis and I decided to share a souffle and my mum ordered a red bean soup and a fruity cooler. We had to wait 15mins for the souffle but it was well worth the wait. Really good souffle i must say, not to bitter and not too sweet, keeps you wanting for more. The red beean soup was good too.... till we found a plastic in it... yikes. We informed the manager and he offered to change it for us. To our surprise, he even gave us a 10 % discount. This is what i call service. A stark contrast to that of chatterbox.

Job Hunt

As a typical undergrad who is about to graduate, I am in a little rat race to find the perfect job which doesnt pay you peanuts and yet derive job satisfaction. I've done something rather brave today, rejected my first job offer from CSM. Reason being I dun think I am cut out for it (nice way of saying that its a boring job).

Well, a good news is that I'm shortlisted for a 2nd interview with Walton International... really happy, a job that I really want. What's even better is that Judith got it too... yeah... this increases our chances of working together... working towards our 6 figure salary.. hehehe.... Judith promise to buy me 2 LV bags and xx 100 FBT shorts when she earns 6 figure.

Ame: All the best for your monday interview... hope you get your transcript by then
Shu: Hope you get SIA and pass the medical....
XX: Stop sending me to get rape!!!
