There is a first for eveything and yes i'm gonna share on my first contact with a pregnancy test kit. Well dont get too excited, its not me who is pregnant, i'm not even married yet!! Yup so my lab rat for this little experiment of mine is none other than... MY SISTER.
Yup as most of you guys know, my sis got married last year and the natural question that people would ask next is... "Are you pregnant?" Personally, I feel that it can be pretty stressful, its not something that you can control and women are actually in pain when you talk about pregnancy.
Well, so my sis suspected that she may be pregnant, so we decided to check it out using the pregnancy test kit.
So off we went to watsons and we had no idea where to find the kit. We searched high and low and after a good 5 mins, we decided to ask the counter lady. So i spoke in my normal voice and asked " Where can i find the pregnancy kit?" My sis looked at me and signalled that i should be more discreet. Ultimately we got our directions to where the kit was located. Since it was my first time buying it, I decided to examine all the different types and which is the most value for money. I was oblivious to the fact that I was suppose to just grab one and run (as seen on tv).
So off we went to test it out, i was so anxious waiting for my sis to get out of the loo. Once she was out, we started to examine the kit and validate it against the instructions manual.
According to the instructions,
2 stripes = pregnant
1 stripe = not pregnant
However 1 of the stripes might be fainter than the other (come on, dont give pple hope).
So my sis and I stared at the kit for a good 3 mins, in hope that the fainter stripe may appear some how. I was so tempted to take a pen and draw a stripe. So as you can guess, my sis is not pregnant. I'm kinda disappointed, but had lots of fun playing with the pregnancy test kit. I'm more experienced now :)
